There are no restrictions on the acquisition of real estate in the Portuguese legal system. 
The title of ownership can be acquired by any entity, whether national or foreign, public or private, individual or corporate, subject to the availability of a "legal personality".
There is also no restriction on the acquisition, possession and sale of shares held in commercial companies, real estate or other.
Finally, there is no restriction on entry and exit of capital, regardless of their origin or destination, where those capital movements are justified under Portuguese law.
